Vice-Chancellor of JNAU visits Poly-house
THE productions of vegetables are being carried out through hi-tech horticulture method in the Poly-house of Jawaharlal Nehru Agriculture University Premises. Every day, progressive farmers from the various villages of district are visiting to poly-house and seeing (he growing vegetables from Ploy-house. These farmers are also taking information about the techniques for growing vegetable through Poly-House.
Recently, Vice-Chancellor of JNAU, Professor. Vijay Singh Tomar along with Directors and Senior Scientists visited the Poly-house and inspected the vegetables which are being growing thanigh hi-tech horticulture. Horticulture HOD. Dr P K Jain. Krishi Vigyan Kendra. Dr Dinkar Sharma, Agriculture Scientist. Dr B P Bisen informed that about the method ol'hi-tech horticulture tor growing vegetahles. They informed that drip irrigation is being carried out tor irrigating vegetables. With small amount of irrigation, the vegetables can he growing and earn huge profits also. This technique save lite vgetables from unwanted insects and weed.

Vice-Chancellor. Professor. Tomar appreciated the Management of Poly-house. He said that there is ample scope for hi-tech horticulture in Mailhya Pradesh. Professor. Tomar said that farmers of district self pay visit in the poly-house and see this method for growing vegetables, Then. they can also use this method tor growing vegetables with very nominal cost.
