'CM must be blamed for power crisis in MIHAN'
L0KNAYAK Bapuji Aney Samili has expressed greai concern over ihe present-day power crisis in MI1IAN. and has blamed Chief Minister for the same.
" Prima faeie, the present power crisis is nothing but a result of total inaction and apathy on part of Chief Minister. This is not the problem of a few industrialists or thousands (if workers, but is a severe blow to the esteem of the people of Vidarhha." stated a release issued by Adv Avirush Kale of the Samiti.
The Samiti condemned the "callous, anit-consittuitonal. and anti-Vidarbhas policy of Maharashtra Government. Right to development is the basic of human rights. However. for the people of Vklarbha. irrigation backlog, power crisis and farmer suicides arc usual things. Maharashtra Government is not interested in resolving the power crisis or irrigation crisis of Vidarbha region. The day when Vidarhha was annexed to Maharashtra. suppression of human rights and sidelining of the interest of Vidarbha people became the order of the day. Adv Kale alleged.
Prof Ekattfa Dliande. Adv Bharti Dabhadkar appealed to the Chic! Minister to resolve immediately the power crisis in MIHAN area Otherwise, the Samiti warned that it would involve the people of Vidarbha along with all affected person sentities to raise die voice against the suppression lust and rcanuble demand of industrialists in MIHAN.
