Though it fielded candidates from all 10-scais the only saviour was the performance of Wamanrao Chatap from Chandrapur parliamentary constituency where he polled an impressive 2,04,413 votes to finish second runners-up.
Its Nagpur nominee. Anjali Damania polled 69.081 votes and lost her deposit. At all other places AAP's candidates failed to make any significant impact. The other significant tally of AAP candidate was in Gadchiroli Chtmur constituency where Dr Ramesh Gajbe secured 45.458 votes. At Ramtek constituency Pratap Goswami bagged just 25.000 votes.
Although the candidates nominated by AAP in Vidarbha had made a mark for themselves in their professional fields, in political arena they could not get endorsement from voters. At most constituency it was placed
