SPORTS are not just leisure physical activities but one can craft a career in it. Parents should not restrict their wards up to summer camps but should seriously think about their career in spors, appealed Dr Jaiprakash Dubale. Deputy Director of Sports. He was speaking in the felicitation ceremony of winner players in 39th divisionallevel gymnastics championship.
Felicitation ceremony was organised during the concluding programme of divisionlevel gymnastics training camp organised at Shri Hanuman Vyayam Prasarak Mandal here recently. Dr Chandrashekhar Kulkarni. President. Amravati District Amateur Gymnastics Association, presided over. Avinash Pund. District Sports Office. Vasant Harane. former Principal. DCPE. Dr Madhuri Chendke. Secretary. HVPM, Adv Kalpesh Shaha. Adv Chandrashekhar Dole.  President.
Amravati District Bar Association and Dr Subhashchandra Sharma. Principal, DCPE were present on the dais. Ashish Hatckar conducted the programme. Sanjay Hirode made introductory remarks.
Regular players of the HVPM had also participated in the 39th divisional-level gymnastics competition. All the winners in different groups were given trophies and medals in the felicitation programme.
In Under 8 Artistic Gymnastics group. Rajveer Rahal and Harshavardhan Hirode won first and second positions while Shital Kanhckar and Kaushik Yawalkar won third positions.
In U-10 boys Artistic Gymnastics group. Jai Deokar won first prize while Om Dandge and Aditya Rahal got joint second prize. Shivraj Umale and Raman Pachkhede won joint third position.
In U-I2 Artistic Gymnastics group. Rutik Ode won first prize. Kshij Thakare and Shardul Tidke won joint second and Prathamesh Gumble and Anmol Mondhe won joint third prize.
In U-14 Artistic Gymnastics group. Ranjan Lakkawar won first prize while Rohit Devikarand Rutik Gaikwad won joint second prize. Vijay Himaneand Siddhant Gaikwad won third prize.
In Girls U-8 Artistic Gymnastics group. Gauri Kalane won first prize. ShiKh.it Kanhckarand Mahck Mehta  won second while Shreya Pande and Unnati Borkuie won ihird prize. In Girls, U-IO Rhythmic Gymnastics group. Sukhada Hambarde won Ural, Ruchali Yadav won second while Nandini Ujjainkar won third prize. In Junior Girls Rhythmic Gymnastics group. Janhavi Tidke and Rilika Vyas won first and second prize while in senior group. Sakshi Vyas and gaur Bhave won first and second prize respectively.In   U-12   Artistic   Gymnastics group, Shrti Wankahde won first. Rashmi Gaikwad and Ga\atri Uparikar won second while Shweta Korode and Bhagyashree Kalane won third prize respectively. In U-14 Artistic Gymnastics group Shruti Pande won first. Rutuja Satpute and Rutuja Kale won second while Radhika Mankarand Vaidehi Kohale won third prize. In Junior Girls Artistic Gymnastics group. Darshana Kakade. Prajakta Dharmale and Poornima Dawale won first, second and third prize respectively.
In Senior group. Vaishnavi Gavhane won first, Vrushali Bijwe won second while Gauri Arokarand Saloni Mondhe won third prizes respectively.
Before the prize distribution ceremony, gymnasts of HVPM exhibited the demonstrations like Tower Pyramid. Aerobics Gymnastics, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Wall pyramid. Roman Ring Vault and other. Madhukar Tambe. 71-year-old veteran who won Panja Kusti competition held recently in the city, was felicitated at the hands of Dr Dubale. All participants in the camp, parents and others were present in the programme.
