Admission process for Glass XI to start only after SSG results
BRINGING all admissions of Class XI under (he ambit of centralised process, the Education department in consultation with school authorities have decided to continue Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for all streams for academic year 2014-15. The process would begin after the declaration of SSC results conducted by Maharashtra State Board. The SSC result might get declared in June, it is expected.
The admissions will be conducted through Centralised Admission Committee (CAC) for 40.000 scats in all streams. The total number of students appearing for Class X are 45.000. The Committee is trying to admit all the students in city colleges and have maximum procedure should be done online. Out of 40.000 total seats. 17.500 are of Science. 9,500areof Arts faculty and 13.000areof Commerce stream.
The students of the city who did their SSC froms at Dhanwale National Junior College, Congress Nagar. Nagpur.
The question is being asked where (he students who passed CBSE will submit the forms? Mahesh Karajgaonkar. Deputy Director (Education! said. "We expect CBSE schools to do the same but in case they refuse then we will make separate arrangement for such students."
The Class XI admissions will be done through the Committee and students will have to submit application forms to the committee. All ihe admissions will be done on merit bat and as per the marks secured by students. Students should buy the application form considering the marks they secured.
If the students have to buy application forms for more than one streams then thes have to submit the application forms separately.
Learning from the past experience and chaos which dominates the CAP rounds, the Education Department has decided lo send admission details to students through SMS.
