With less response to further extends date CAP of MBA, DTE of registration
WITH only 27.557 candidates have so far registered for Centralised Admission Process (CAP) with Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) against 45,297 seats of MBA/MMS programmes in4l 1 B schools across Maharashtra. Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has extended the date of registration from May 21 to 29. The date for verification of documents at Application Receipt Centre (ARC has also been extended to May 30. 2014. Earlier, owing to less participation in MAH CET20I4 CAP. DTE Maharashtra had extended the CAP registration date from May 12 to May 21. 2014. Online applications were invited for those aspiring candidates who could not register for MAH MBA/ MMS CET 2014 during January 27 to February 14. 2014 but appeared forCAT2014.XAT2014.GMAT2014. CMAT 2014. MAT FEB 2014 and ATMA. Butdespiteofthisextension. DTE Maharashira is unable to fill Us total quota of 45297 scats of MBA/MMS programmes across Maharashtra.
In a desperate attempt to fill these seats in 400+ B schools across Maharashtra DTE has now further extended the last date of registration in Centralized admission process (CAP) from May 21. 2014 to May 29. 2014. In 2013 die seats remained vacant even after CMAT was conducted thrice and CET by private colleges too was conducted thrice. Still more than 50 percent seats remained vacant in B schools finalls Government had to allow the students who did not participate in any of the CET to take admission.
Document verification date extended: THE date for verification of documents at ARCs across Maharashtra has also been extended to May 30. 2014 from May 22. 2014. More number of ARCs have been opened in Mumbai, Pone, Nasik. Nagpur. Amravati. Aurangabad to expedite the process of CAP 2014.
DTE Maharashtra will share live telecast on 'Guidance about admission process' to various MBA and other courses in 200 colleges in Maharashtra from May 31 to June 2, 2014. Guidance interactive session on MBA admission process in Maharashtra will be held by Dr S K Mahajan and team from 10 am to 12 noon on June 1. 2014 at Mumbai University campus. The session will be telecast live in 200 B schools of Maharashtra. The fee is the major aspect which is decided by Shikshan Shulka Samiti or Fee Fixation Committee in Maharashtra. Fortunately the colleges which participate in CAP have to charge the fees fixed by Shikshan Shulka Samiti. The fees ranges from Rs.l lakh to Rs. 3 lakh across Maharashtra. This fee structure is lower than the cost of MBA from private colleges in other parts of the country where the fee may be as high as Rs.8 lakh to 14 lakhs.
