Cop caught taking bribe
ANTI-CORRUPTION Bureau (ACB) sleuths on Monday red-handed arrested a Police Head Constable from Rajapeth Police Station here for taking bribe of Rs 2.500 from an accused under offence 420 for avoiding his arrest.
The arrest action has been executed at the house of the complainant here at Hamalpura locality on Monday ai 2.45 pm. Dinesh Mhala is the name of the arrested accused.
According to information. Dhanraj Huniane (45) from Hainalpura locality here is an accused in 420 case which look place under ihe jurisdiction of Rajapeth Police Station here in 2008. Court number 5 here recently has issued his arrest war rant. But Dinesh Mhala (Buckle Number 757). Head Constable from Rajapeth Pol ice Station here and also a resident of Dhanwantari Nagar near Dastur Nagar here allegedly had demanded a bribe of Rs 2.500 to Dhanraj Humane for avoiding his arrest. Dhanraj Humane has lodged a complaint towards Anti-Corruption
