Budding medicos steal question papers from IGGMC
TAKING a cue from popular movie "3 Idiots' in which Aamir Khan and his friends break open the lock of Dean's Chamber to steal the question papers, some miscreants on Thursday stole the question papers from Indira Gandhi Government Medical College (IGGMC).
The unidentified students (it is strongly believed that they must be medical students as they were the only one interested in stealing the papers before exam), entered in library through terrace of newly constructed multiutility building. The question-papers were kept in the strong room located on the ground floor. Giving a slip to security personnel- these unidentified miscreants used duplicate keys to enter the strong room (another similarity with how Amir Khan and his friends gain access to Dean V'ceru Sahastrabuddlvc's chamber).
Inside the strong room, there was second layer of security in form of a locked almirah. But. somehow, die thieves opened the lock of almirah. took out the packet of question papers of various subjects, cut die packet with the help of scalpel like a skilled surgeon, removed the question papers and fled away without leaving a trace. Ironically, other valuable material was not even touched, leaving no doubt about real intention of thieves.
The shocking and disturbing incident was noticed by Dr Amit Agrawal. Centre in-charge. Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUMS) on Thursday morning when he approached strong room to review the sitting arrangement. The door of the hall was wide open, the sealed lock of the strong room was missing, the packet of the question papers was found to he tampered with, the papers were lying scattered.
Astonished by this audacious action. Dr Agrawal quickly alerted Dr Prakash Wakode. Dean of IGGMC. Shocked beyond belief, he immediately swung into action and called police and also informed Ml.'HS office at Nashik. Dr Kishor Taori being a Management Council member was entrusted
