Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Course In Nagpur University
THE name is Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) Unfortunately there is no taker for the course on this great Saint. The course is ready but colleges are disinterested lo run the course as they fear that students might not turn up.
Shri Gurudev Yuva MaiKh and others pursued the matter and during the tenure of Dr S N Pathan. Vice Chancellor, the university got the name of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj. Dr Pathan took an initiative and started university song 'Ya Bharatat Bandhubhav Nitya Vasu De' which was composed by Tukadoji Maharaj. Now every college has lo start its programme with the song. The university uxs. a hirther siep and demanded Rashtrasam Tukadoji Chair. The demand got fulfilled and Maharashtra Government allotted a fund of Rs 2 crote. The committee of Dr Akshaykumar Kale. Dr Pradip Aglawe who is die Head of Dr Balasaheb Ambedkar Thought endeavored lo reach lo thousands indents. The classes of Dr Ambedkar Thought have flooded with students. On die same lines. university should take measures. I personally feel that students also should show interest and look as a researcher towards this course.
