THE Department of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra has appreciated the Gondwana University for adopting information svstem in the University successfully. In a statement issued here. Dr Vinayak Irpate. Registrar of the University, has said that as per the directives of the Higher and Technical Education. the Gondwana University utilised the information technology regarding educational and other initiatives of the the University by way of web Nile and provided it to the students. Because of this management the students and colleges could get timely and correct information. Taking cognizance of this venture. Director of Higher and Technical Education Dr P R Gaikwad has appreciated the University administration.
This is certainly a matter of honour for the Gondwana University, said Dr Irpate adding that Assistant Programmer of the Gondwana University Pramod Borkar took necessary pains for this success.
The colleges from Gadchiroli and Chandrapur districts are affiliated to the Gondwana University and these districts are known as tribal dominated and backward. Despite problems of internet connectivity and other such problems, the University could successfully manage the information system. Dr Irpate further stated. It may be noted that the then Vice-Chancellor Dr Vijay Ainehwar has a lion's share in the success of this programme besides the contribution of Amol Khodwe.
