SHAHID Din' was observed in Dr Panjahrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeih (PDKV). Akola to remember the activists who laid down their life for establishment of the agriculture university. Staffers and students paid tributes during a programme held here on August 20 . coinciding with Sadbhavtmu Dims. Dr V P Mahorkar, in-charge Vice Chancellor of PDKV. was chiefly present on the occasion. A wrealh was offered at Shahid Sniarak in the premises of the University.

Dr P G Ingole, Director of Research. Dr C N Gangade. Dean of Agriculture and Dr Sanjay Kokate. Director of Students Welfare, were also present.

A pledge on communal harmony was taken by staff on Sabhavana Diwas. The programme was conducted by Dr Sanjay Kokate.
