Demand to include Beldari community in ST category

                                                                                      

A DELEGATION of Beldar com-munily recently submitted a memorandum to Amravati district collector and demanded to include the community in Scheduled Tribes.

While discussing with District Collector Kiran Gittc. delegation members said that government is taking steps to bring backward classes into the mainstream. In spite of that Beldar (Nuniya) community is facing injustice. Beldarcommunity falls in Nomadic Tribes in Maharashra while in MP and Chhatisgarh. The same cast names as Nuniya is included ST category. On central level, people from same castes are included in OBC category. Hence. Beldar community should included In the ST category, demanded the delega tion members.

Jyoti  Sairise,  Anand  Sultane. Prakash Ghaie. Laxman Pamle. Shekhar Billcwar. Vijay Mundale. Vishwanaih Mahinge. Jagannaih Bhagewar. Sukhedo Suhane. Krishna Sairise. Baban Bhambukar. Sangiia Bhongare. Mina Sairise and others were present while submitting the memorandum.
