Mane, Deshpande donate fund to Mahila Mahavidyalaya

                                                                                      

PROF Pandurang Mane and Jyoii Deshpande recently gave donations Of Rs 25.000 and Rs 11.000 resepctively to Manila Mahavidyalaya run by Nootan Vidarbha Education Society recently. Both amounts will be given to Students Benefit fund started by the college since last two years.

Prof Mane gave donation in the memory of his wife late Pushpa Pandurang Mane whie Jyoti Deshpande donated the fund in the memory of her teacher late Bhaskar Moharil who was a very good teacher of English.

Jyoti Deshpande is the former student of the same college. Awards will be given to students who would top in English subject in BA I, II and III. Deshpande previously has given donations of Rs 11.000 to college in the memory of her father late Kesbav Jahagirtfar. Students benefit fund has got donations of Rs 5 lakh in last five years. Girl students of the college who excelled in different subjects are given prizes from ihis fund. Apart from that students from weaker economie section are also helped through this fund to complete their education. Till now, students have been given uniforms, bicycles and education material from this funds.

The committee has been formed to look after this students benefit fund which include Prof Pravin Guihane. Prof Wadekar. Prof Mamata Pande, Prof Warsha Sable and Prof Amruta Wankhadc.

Dr Avinash Moharil. Principal of the college accepted the amount from Prof Mane and Deshpande on behalf of the college. Both Mane and Deshpande lauded the efforts taken by Manila Mahavidyalaya for the benefit of students.

Dr Moharil assured to provide benefits to needy students from the amount of donations.
