It may be mentioned here that Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has been chosen for Gold Award in the category of innvoative use of IT in governance while the Bronze Award has gone to Public Health Department for Software for Assessment of Disability Maharashtra.The State Government also announced awards in different categories such as e-governance excellence, excellence in process re-engineering, excellence in  centric service deli very, best website/portal etc. The government had received approximately 240 entries for e-Governance awards under various categories. The government will declare the date of the function for giving away the awards shortly.
