Customers on warpath against Rana Landmark

A GROUP of customers submitted memorandum against Rana Landmark Private Limited here to Kirankumar Gitte. District Collector, and demanded their money given to Rana Landmark Private Limited for purchasing properties. Customers threatened to stage agitation if their demand would not be fulfilled immediately.

According to people who met Gitte. they gave Rs 2.5 lakh each to Chandrashckhar Rana and Yogcsh Rana. both the Directors of Rana Landmark Private Limited, for the flats in their scheme on 2.17.640 square feel in Survey Number 72. They paid 25 percent of amount after which directors assured to handover the flats to them within 2 years. Hut as people did not get their flats even after the completion of two years, they met with the directors.

The directors in the customer meet organised on June 30. 2013. gave in written on the stamp paper that they would give the possessions of the flats within six months and also mentioned to return theiramount with 10 percent of interest if failed to hand over the properties.

Even after the completion of six months, they did not get the possession of the flat. The company returned money to only limited customers while it is denying to other customers. Asa result of which, customers readied to district collectorate and demanded the District Collector to intervene.

Peopledemanded for their deposit from the company and also threatened to stage agitation.

Nilesh Gulhane. Pradip Chid-arwar, Avinash Naghate. Ashok Tekade. G P Mote. Dr V S Sabale. Pravin Deshmukh. Milind Belgamkar and others were present in the delegation which met District Collector. It should be mentioned that some of the customers, had registered complaint at Frezarpura police station in this regard.
