Nagpur Interior designer bags award in Italy
ARUNDHATI Sathe. a young and talented interior designer from the city and alumni of LAD College, has added another feather to her cap and has brought laurels for interior designer fraternity of India. She has received International A'Design Award recently in Como, Italy. A'Design Award and Competition aims at highlighting the excellent qualifications of best designs, design concepts, and design-oriented products worldwide.
Arundhati. who is running her own firm Callista Interiors in Nagpur for last 5 years, received the award in the category of Performing An and Scene Design, for designinga life-size set 30ft x 50ft of Fountain di trevi and Pre way replica of Barouque Architecture for a wedding in Nagpur.
The ceremony took place on August 9 in Como. near Milan in Italy. Ambassadors from Singapore and neighbouring countries were present for the ceremony. The backbone of the A'Design Award are renowned professors from famous Design College Ploilecniano diMilano of Milan. They, too, were present on the occasion. In all. 250 designers from all over the globe attentcd the award function. All the unique and award-winning designs were exhibited for public from August 10 to 27 at the City Center in Como. Arundhati was accompanied by her husband Suhodh.
