Students complete course of PGDHHM at OGHRI
NAGPUR based Orange City Hospital .and Reseaidi Iiuslilulc (OCHRI) is known for its innovative cost-effective indigenous management protocols- These management initiatives are being studied by many management schools. To maintain transparency and educate all medical professionals about the management tools envisaged and implemented at (OCHRI): an education arm of OCHRI namely Nagpur Institute to 'Medical Sciences was commenced under leadership of Dr Anup Marar. Diploma in Hospital and Health care Management (PGDHHM) course. This PGDHHM course is affiliated to Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University. The advantage of this course is that is taught on Sundays and is for working medical and allied professionals. Till date many medical professionals have gained by this novel course.
Dr Anup Marar staled that usually management subject is not taught in any medical/dental schools. However the doctors are expected to manage clinies and hospital, liaison with all and even understand
government laws and comprehend accountancy.
This course helps them in giving an insight into all practica management jargon. Moreover interactions with retired bureaucrats and union leaders apart from Held projects are arranged.Medical professionals from all over Central India and even major companies have till date successfully completed this course.
