INORDER go standardise and maintain uniformity in the implementation of Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) conducted by schools. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has identified five agencies that will provide online (web based) and offline (pen drive) Learning Management System (IMS) to the affiliated schools including 220 ones of Chhatiisgarh.
According to the circular issued by Navin Maini. Research Officer CBSE. the board has appointed five different agencies which schools can select from and use for the LMS. A few more agencies will be identified by the board soon.
The LMS will assist schools to auto-generate question papers from a bank of 10000 questions, generation of any number of practice
papers on die basis of CBSE question paper design, detailed guidelines for teachers based on innovative pedagogics, ccontcnt and teaming tools among several other functions.
The vendors will provide the school academic and administrative tools and the LMS will be mobile enabled.
Since the private schools will have to shell out between Rs 7.500 and Rs 23,500 annually, depending on I [he classes the services arc being used for, the online mode system will be available free of cost to CBSE affiliated government as well as government aided schools.

Nishii Arora, Teacher in Delhi Public School said if the guidelines are very strict, it will not work out. The agencies should give board methodologies and allow the teachers to work in their way in class to ensure that the teaching is best suited for a particular branch of the students on a particular day.
