Results of JEE (Main) on 3rd
THE result for Join! Entrance Examination (JEE) (Main) 2014. conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSEl. arc just two days away.
Candidates who appeared for the examination can check their results on the JEE (Main) official website.
The JEE l.Mainl paper-based exam was conducted on April 6 and was attempted by over 11 lakh candidates. The JEE (Mains) online exams were held between April 9 and April 19.
In Nagpur division, the examination was conducted on 68 centres and 33.315 students appeared in the examination. In Nagpur city, 15.034 students appeared at 35 centres for first paper and 2.598 students appeared in second paper. Total 17.632 students appeared in Nagpur.
In Chandrapur. 4,528 students appeared at 8 centres; in Wardha. 2.632 students appeared at 5 centres Bhandara's 7 centres registered 3.875 students; while Gadchtroli had 1.473 students on three centres. In Gondia at 10 centres. 3.495 students appeared.
The results shall comprise of the actual marks obtained by the candidates in Paper-] of JEE (Main) 2014 along with the status of those who qualify for appearing in JEE (Advanced) 2014 .
A separate rank list will be prepared lor December 18.2013 admission lo BE/B Tech and B Arch B Planning (in iastitutions other than IITs) on the basis of score in JEE (Main)-20I4 and normalised score in Class 12th or equivalent qualifying exam (60 per cent and 40 per cent wcightagc respectively). This will he declared bv July 7. 2014.
JEE(Main)-20l4 Rank Card indicating All India Rank. State Rank and Category Rank with total marks and marks in each paper will be available on JEE (Main) website after the declaration of result.
Only the All India Rank is used for admissions through Central Counseling Board to NIT s/ IIITs/ CFTIs/ SFIs/ Others, while other ranks are for information purposes.
From this year forth no score/ rank card will be dispatched lo the candidates. The candidates who appeared for the exam are advised to download their score/ rank cards from the JEE (Main) website: http://jeemain.nic.in.
