'Hold special gram sabha to implement devpt schemes'
FOR the effective implementation of the rural development activities at the gram panchayat level, a special gram sabha should be held every month and in this connection a communication was issued to the Block Development officer for the follow up of action by Ruchesh Jaivansh. Chief Executive Officer.
For rural development, various schemes arc being implemented at the GP level through necessary funds by the Centre and State government. The object of providing funds to the GPs is for the all round development of the rural parts. But. due to certain reasons, the schemes are not implemented effectively and the funds remain unutilized.
There being no proper coordinalion amongst the officers and Gram Panchayat office bearers, the schemes are not implemented properly. With a view to proper implementation of schemes at the GP level, the CEO asked the block development officers to hold a special gram sabha every month.
Holding gram sabha. it will accelerate the process of development after taking review of the schemes in the meetings.
The special meeting to be held will discuss the difficulties and suggest certain measures to overcome the difficulties.
The officers and GP office bearers presence in a meeting is mandatory. If regular meetings are held at the GP level to discuss the implementation of schemes, the GP members will develop a positive altitude.
