'GR on key issues of State employees soon'
"THE Stale Government will take decision on five-day week, retirement at the age of 60. child nurturing leave to women employees as per Centre, recruitment of vacant posts etc. very soon while the decision on additional increment and promotion has been already taken. The government resolution (GR) in this regard will soon he issued,"informed G D Kulthe. Founder of Union of Gazetted Officers and Chief advisor. He was addressing a meeting at Chandrapur the other day.
Pravin Badkelwar presided over the meeting while Dr Pramod Rakshamwar, Arun Tikhe. Avinash Somnathe. Waghmare. Giri and Dr Wasudeo Kimmatkar were present as the guests. Pravin Badkelwar. Arun Tikhe and Dr Wasudev Kimmatkar were accorded warm felicitation on their retirement.
Speaking further. Kulthe said that positive discussion was held with the administration and different unions on various demands and most of the demands will soon be fulfilled. The long pending demands including five-day week, retiremeni at the age of 60, child nurturing leave to women employees as per centre, recruitment of vacant posts are nearly sorted out. The government possibly will issue the GR in this regard after the end of code of conduct, he believed. The strike was temporary called after the boycott of two hours, he clarified. if gazetted The government has initiated the recruitment process in the state to fill up 1.32 lakh vacant posts.The government has also gave positive reply at the meeting took place in February last with the unions and soon the government resolution will be out on additional increment and promotion.

Kulthe said that taking note of incidents of attacks and thrashing the officers while on duly, the home department has prepared the draft to bring in the law for the protection of the employees and officers and it will get nod soon. Meanwhile, a resolution to condemn attack on Dr Dhange. Medical Officer. Pombhuma was passed in the meeting.
