Elderly man kills wife, son, daughter-in-law over petty issue
IN a sensational incident a 62-year-old man killed three members of his own family in a fit of rage, the deceased includes wife, son and daughter-in-law. Goregaon police have arrested the accused and further enquiry is underway.
Details have in that accused Pandurang Sindu Aagde (62) head of farmer family residing in Goregaon's Subhash Ward, was having difference with his son Channa Aagde (36) over the issue of whether to sale the wheat they had stored or not.
On the fateful day of Monday, in the morning Pandurang again entered in an altercation with his son Channa over the same issue. The incident took ugly turn when in a fit of rage, Pandurang attacked Channa with iron hammer, killing him on the spot. Not stopping there. Pandurang also attacked his wife Birenbai Aagde (57) and his daughter-in-law Yogeshwari Channa Aagde (32), who came for the rescue of Channa, injuring them critically.
After getting the information police team led by Police Inspector Ravindra Shinde of Goregaon rushed to the spot and rushed all the injured to Gondia's KTS Hospital, where they breathed their last during treatment. Police have also arrested accused Pandurang Aagde under section 302 of IPC and further enquiry headed by Shinde is underway.
