V-C vows to make RTMNU land encroachment-free

 

AFTER resolving issues after issues, now Anoop Kumar. Acting V ice-Chancellor has decided to make free the land of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University from the dutehes of encrouchers
This news is definitely going to be a big shock for those who have encroached upon RST Nagpur varsity land and those who are giving such elements their hacking.
Divisional Commissioner and Acting Vice-chancellor. Anoop Kumar on May 8 conducted a meeting. Anoop Kumar has assured that he would initiate steps for freeing nearly 7.729-acre land belonging to RTMNU. from the encroachers. The meeting chaired by Anoop Kumar was attended by Registrar Dr Ashok Gnomeshe. Additional Collector Punjabrao Wankhede. Assistant Collector Dr Rahul Rckhawar and Excise Superintendent Varde.
The land has been encroached in the clulfhes of the cniToaclicrs for last 23 years but now there is a ray of hope that it will be free.

RTMNU in its urgent executive body meeting held on December 20. 1991 had decided to hand over varsity land admeasuring 70.09 acres to the stale government for the proposed Spons Complex. Accordingly.on April 24, 1992 the land was handed over to collector at a meeting. Liter the state government changed its mind. 'Hit Spore complex was built on Koradi roadiasteadof Amaravati Road. After that ihc university tried to gel back its land from Slate Government. But in the meantime, various hotel and dhaha owners had encroached upon the land. The encrouchers knocked the oldistrict and sessions court. Cot lectDf was nude a party in the litigation. The university made intervention application in the matter. I totel owner Natthu Yadav. applied in the civil court for ownership of me said land. Review was taken in the meeting about the kind of steps that can be taken on this background.

Anoop Kumar tias called a meeting of die officials of various department.s to discuss about the steps that can be taken to free the land from encroachment. On the said land of 7.729 acre. 12 people have made encroachment. They include. Vinod Chandan Siriya owner of For season Family Rcstaraunt. Milnxl Manik Sable owner of The Spoon: Caffe Garden Restaraunt, Sandip Narmadaprusad Yadav ownei of Mejhan Family Restaraunt. Rakesh Nathhu Yadav owner of Maratha Family Garden. Kun.it Gajanan SakharkarShekhar Food Caffe Saojee and Kun.it Santosh BhisikarPintoe Saojee Bhojanalaya. All the relevant documents of these hotel owners like, hotel permit, water and power supply connection etc will he checked in a special drive.
