BJP demands immediate corrections in voters' lists

 

A DELEGATION of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) met District Collector Abhishek Krishna for rectifying mistakes in electoral rolls of Nagpur city. BJP City President Krishna Khopde led the delegation. He said, around one lakh voters could not cast their votes in recently held Lok Sabha elections. These voters have their voter I-card and (hey had voted in last election but in this election they were deprived. They also highlighted other mistakes of voters list. In many cases, the polling booth was 5 kms away from the residence of the voter. District Collector assured them to rectify' mistakes in coming days. BJP functionaries Shrikant Deshpande.
