First workshop held under 'Samiksha-3'
THE 1st workshop in the 3rd event of "Samiksha" (Review)chain. held at the auditorium of HRDC. was inaugurated at the hands of Chief Guest. ED (Works) Y K Degan in the presence of GM (HRD) C R Rishi. DGM (HRD) Manas Shukla. DGMs (T&D) A K Tiwari and Raju Saxena. and DGM (RMD) M L Amrit.
It may be mentioned that prior to this workshop. 13 and 9 workshops were conducted in I stand 2nd events respectively. While addressing on this occasion. Chief Guest Degan pointed that to visualise in advance the challenges ahead and lo chart out strategies for overcoming them. is the unique ability of BSP collective, which has facilitated it in registering unprecedented records on production and quality fronts.
He further pointed that with the intention of facilitating the consumcrsin the country with top quality steel. Government of India has introduced the regulation for ensuring BIS Standards for all salable steel products, which certainly is a challenge for BSP collective. So, it was considered a practical approach to deliberate on the suggestions, given by the members of collective and finalise the action plan for facing the challenges ahead in the same context, added Degan
He specifically apprised the participants in the workshop conducted under 'Samiksha-3'about the decision of Indian Railways for increasing the demurrage charges with effect from 1st June 2014 and its adverse effect on the expenditure of organisation. He also invited worthwhile suggestions from participants, and stressed on the necessity of implementing the apt suggestions among them. Soon after.
