Academic Council nod for conducting exam of students from banned colleges
THE Academic Council of Raslurasam Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) in its meeting held on Thursday passed a resolution for conducting special examination for 6.616 students from 63 banned colleges. The Stale Government on June 11. 2014. had directed the University to regularize and conduct special examination of these students.
The members of the Academic Council held deliberations on the issue during the meeting, following which the resolution was passed for conducting the special examination.
A special ordinance will have lo be passed for conducting the special examination. The resolution passed in the Academic Council meeting will be sent to the Management Council, Board of Examination and Governor's office for their consent.Once their consent is received, a special ordinance to this effect will be passed for conducting the special examination.
The resolution passed in the Academic Council meeting will also be placed for hearing in the High Court bench in the next scheduled hearing on July I. 2014.
Committee formed to look onto the issue of 50 percent university approved teachers on roll.
