Probe panel's report in Dr Khedkar's case contradictory: Suryawanshi
THE factors from Sam Gadgebaba Amravati University (SGAU) is trying to break the amendment made in the act by making an attempt to save Dr Mohan Khedkar, Vice-Chancellor of SGAU. The 32 (6) Committee formed to enquire the illegal increase of marks of the daughter of Dr Mohan Khedkar, in ME 1st and ME Ilnd year, itself is showing dustbin to the conclusion it has drawn as the conclusion and recommendation made by the committee in its report are contradictory, alleged Prof Dinesh Suryawanshi, President of Clean and Green Forum here in a press conference-Prof Suryawanshi further alleged that, it has got clear from the conclusion drawn by the 32 (6) Committee that Vice-Chancellor very cleverly used the officers, employees and teachers working under him tor increasing the marks of his daughter through revaluation.
The report of the committee is not based on the conclusion and has made as per intended by the 3 members of the committee instead of intended by the law. alleged Prof Suryawanshi. The reports clearly said that to give chance to Prof Dudul to check the revaluation papers of Mrunal Khedkar. daughter of Dr Mohan Khedkar though doesn't belong 10 the list of the teachers' panel and also experts in Digital Image Processing and while guiding Mrunal Khedkar as her PhD guide and writing synopsis for her itself is objectionable.
The conclusion of the report of the 32 (6) committee itself cleared that Dr Mohan Khedkar is not capable to control the university as per amendment in Maharashtra University Act. check the answer-sheets of his daughter and unnecessarily used his professional relations, alleged Prof Suryawanshi.
Prof Suryawanshi alleged that Dr Ajay Deshmukh. Director of Board Collegiate and University Department is trying to save Vice-Chancellor in the case as his post is coterminus and according to the law he will have to leave his post if Dr Mohan Khedkar will have to leave his post.
Dr Santosh Thakare and some of the members from Senate of SGAU are also trying to save Dr Khedkar for their personal interest, alleged Prof Suryawanshi.
Prof Suryawanshi has demanded to terminate Dr Mohan Khedkar and said that one challenge the decisions of authorities or board if its report wouldn't made according to the law and is not in favour of the benefit of the students. Hence Clean and Green Education Forum will challenge the report, informed Prof Suryawanshi.
