3 tiger reserves to remain open partially from July 1
TADOBA-ANDHARI. Pench and Melghat Tiger Reserves will remain partially open from July 1 on account of monsoon while Navegaon-Nagzira Tiger Reserve will remain totally closed from June 30 for tourists.
The wildlife sanctuaries in Vidarbha having facility of 'pakka' forest roads would remain open while others will be closed down during monsoon. Tiger reserves, national parks and wildlife sanctuaries are kepi closed during monsoon in view of breeding season of wild animals and bad condition of internal roads.
