Amravati Division second in State with 91.85 pc result
AMRAVATI Division has clinched the second position in the lable across the State with 91.85 per cent result of Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) examination conducted in February- March this year.
Total 1.08,0% students'had appeared in Amravati Division out of which 99.286 students cleared the exam registering passing per cent of 91.85 for the division. Only Konkan Division is ahead of Amravati in the State with 94.85 per cent.
In Amravati Division, Akola distriel has registered maximum 93.46 passing percentage followed by Buldana with92.71 percent, Washim with 92.52 per cent, Yavatmal with 90.88 per cent and Amravati with 90.73 per cent.
Out of total passed students. 7428 students have got more than 75 per cent. 41.878 got marks between 60 per cent to 75 per cent. 47.370 has got 45 per cent to 60 per cent and 2610 students got results from 35 percent to 45 per cent.
In Amravati Division, passing percentage of Science faculty is 95.24 per cent, that of Arts is 89.66 percent, in Commerce faculty it is93.97 per cent and in MCVC it is 86.83 per cent. Total 36.755 students of Science, 44.360 students of Arts. 10.249 students of Commerce and 7922 students of MCVC cleared HSSC exam.
As it has almost become a tradition, girls have surpassed boys in passing percentage in Amravati Division. Passing percentage of girls is 94.28 percent while that of boys is 89.75 percent.
"Amravati Division has got second position in the State with 91.85 per cent result and we congratulate all successful students. Only 9 per cent students could not Clear the exam unfortunately and they should not lose the hope," said Sanjay Ganorkar. Divisional Chairman of Amravati HSSC Board. Revaluation process in Amravati Division will start from Tuesday, he informed.
