INDEPENDENCE Day was celebrated at Sant Gadgebaba Amravati University (SGAU) in a joyousatmosphere. The flag hoisting was done at the hands of Dr Mohan Khcdkar. Vice- Chancellor of SGAU. DrJaikiranTidke. Pro-Vice Chancellor. SGAU. Dineshkumar Josht. Registrar, were prominently present.

Dr Khedkar said that India got success inco-ordinaiing knowledge. science and lechnology. India is known as peace loving couniry and we have democracy in our country in real sense, he said, adding that the increasing politics influence of politics in education field should be restricted- Contribution of every person is needed for development of SGAU. he said. The University is already providing facilities like online examination fee submission and is planning to start some more schemes for the benefit of students, he told.

Mentioning that in the survey of India Today-AC Neilson. SGAU has got 27th all-India ranking and fifth ranking in west zone. Dr Khedkar thanked all those who are contributing for the development of the University. Dr Avinash Asnare. Director of Physical Education and Recreation Board, conducted the programme. Head of the departments, officials, teachers, employees of SGAU were present for the flag hoisting programme.
