NSS unit to plant 1,000 saplings in 3 villages

                                                                                           

A TREE plantation programme was organised by NSS unit of Arls College. Badnera affiliated to SGAU recently. Vijay Nagpure. corporator, inaugurated the programme while Principal Dr Gopal Wairale chaired the programme.

Dr Santosh Bansod. NSS Programme Officer, informed in his introductory remarks that NSS squad of die college will plant 1.000 saplings at Utiamsara village in Bhatkuli tehsil and at Takali (Bk) and Ajani in Nandgaon Khandeshwar tehsil. It will also conduct streei plays in these villagers for making villagers aware about the importance of tree plan tation. he told.

Dr Wairale asserted the need for devloping forests through tree plantation for maintaining environmental balance. Vijay Nagpurc also stressed the need for tree plantation.

Dr 0 B Munde, Dr Mchare. Khushal Alaspure. Satish Khonde. Harshal Nimbhorkar. Hemant Bclokar. Dr Sachin Hole and R D Deshmukh were prominantly present for the programme. NSS volunteers from the college took pains for the success of the programme.
