NCP's Nirdhar Melava today
NIRDHAR Melava has been organised bvAmravaii District Nationalist Congress Party here at Sam Dnyaneshwar Sanskrutik Bhavan at 10.30 a.m. on Aug 4. Ajit Pawar, Deputy Chief Minister and Sunil Taikare. State President of National ist Congress Party will guide the activists in the programme, informed Sunil Warhade, newly appointed District President of Nationalist Congress Party here in a press conference.
Addressing further Warhade said that the Nirdhar Melava has been organised as a part of the Statewide programme of NCP before assembly elections. MLA Prakash Gajbhiye. Anil Deshmukh. Minister of Civic Supplies and also the District Contact Chief of NCP. many other NCP ministers in the state along with heads of various cells will prominantly remain present for the convention. Many leaders and activists from Congress, Shiv-Sena. BJP, MNS and from other parties will also join NCP during the Nirdhar Melava. informed Warhade. Informing about the preperation for upcoming assembly elections, he told thai they are preparing for contesting all the eight assembly seats in Amravati District and party higher authorities will take decision about seat sharing in the district.
"NCP is free from groupism unike other parties. There is no resenment among party leaders and activists over my appointment as die District President, though I joined the party merely one and half month ago quitting Congress." Warhade said.
Navneet Rana. NCP leader informed that they will try to take Ajit Pawar and Sunil Tatkare to Chandur Bazar tehsil where flood has devastated the villages. She informed that they will demand compensation of Rs. 10 lakh for deceased, homes for the affected people and also aid to these people.
