Akola office of Integrated Tribal Development Project was allotted 13 generator sets for ashramshalas and hostels in tribal area under its purview. It has been reported thai Bhrashtachar Nirmulan Samiti of Amravaii had made a complaint in deal of purchases of these generator sets. The investigation in the case by Anti-Corruption Bureau of Akola investigated the matter. Their investigationdisclosed that alleged fraud of Rs l9,06,509.91 has taken place in the case and also fake papers about excise duty and VAT duty involving amount of Rs 2.12.169.51 are involved in the transactions. Although total 13 sets were ordered for Akola office only 12 of them were received.
