UNION    Minister    and    senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nitin Gadkari will be in Pandharkawada on Saturday to attend a programme in which senior leader of the          district

Annasahcb Parvekar will enter into BJP fold with thousands of his supporters. The programme will be held at the Agriculture Produce Marketing Committee yard at 10am. Devendra Fadnavis. State BJP President and MLA. and Hansraj Ahir. MP. will also remain present for the programme.

Speculations about Annasaheb Parvekar's possible entry into the BJP were doing rounds in the Assembly coastituency since last many months. It may be recalled that Parvckar was removed from Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) two years ago for joining hands with Congress during Pandharkawada Municipal Council elections without seeking permission from the NCP leadership. He did not join any other party after that and continued to engage in local politics. During the Lok Sabha elections, he and his supporters campaigned hard for BJP. According to sources. Hansraj Ahir. senior BJP leader, pushed for his entry into the BJP.
