Workshop held for pregnant women
GARBHASANSKAR Training Workshop was organised by World Vision India. Daryapur. for 180 pregnant women in 35 villages in Daryapur Teshil at Sub-District Rural Hospital. Daryapur recently.
Medical tests of the pregnant women was done in the hospital. Dr Aswini Devke. Medical Officer from Ycoda Public Health Centre, guided the women in the workshop.
Syam Pattapu, Program Manager of World Vision India. Daryapur was prominently present. Syam Pattapu underlined the need to remain healthy so that future generation of the country enjoy good health.
World Vision has been working to root out malnutrition by creating awareness among adolescent girls, expectant mothers, lactating mothers to work towards Zero malnutrition villages.
All the 180 participants were given 6 kg healthy diet kit including 2 kg rice. 1 kg moogdal. 1 kg ground nut and 1 kg jaggery and I kg soyabeen oil.
Sahebrao Koutuke Bandu.Gavti, Patel, Gore and all the employees from sub-District Rural Hospital extended their support for making this workshop successful.
