Farmers guided on mushroom cultivation

A GUIDANCE programme on 'mushroom cultivation- a supplementry business and pesticide' was organised for the farmers and members of self help groups under Rural Agriculture Work Expireance programme of Shivaji Agriculture College. Amravati run by Shivaji Education Society, Amravati at the auditorium of Pragati Vidyalaya, Rahatgaon recently.

Babasaheb Charjan, Vice-President of Shivaji Education Society. Amravati chaired the programme while Principal Dr Nandkishor Chikhale. Prof VU Shinde. Prof V E Lokhande. Programme Co-ordinator and Vitihalrao Lokhande. a progressive farmer, were present as the guests Of honour for the programme. Babasaheb Charjan in his presidential speech praised for the organisers for implementing under Rural Agriculture Work Expircance programme.

Prof Mohod guided the women from self help group about mushroom cultivation through demonstration. Prof Lande guided on pest control on various crops.

Felicitation of Uttamrao Pandav, progressive farmer also took place at the hands of the guests on the occassion.

Neha Pole conducted the proceedings while Dilip Nagargoje proposed a vote of thanks.

Farmers from Nandgaon Peth. Shivangaon and Fattepur villages were present in large numbers along with the subject experts of Rural Agriculture Work Expireance Programme and programme officer of the college for the programme.
