Yogesh Rana arrested for duping investors

CITY Kotwali Police on Thursday arrested Yogesh Narayan Rana. Direcior of Rana Landmark. For duping customers of Rs 5 crore by taking advance payments against giving possessions of flats and shops in his Hat systems on Kathora road. Rahatgaon and at Shegaon Naka from them and not giving possession even after completion of due dates.

Rana Landmark Office is situated at Rana Complex in Congress Nagar locality. In 2012. The Rana Landmark Company had conducted a seminar in one of the famous hotel here regarding the real estate business. Many of the customers had got attracted towards the company following extensive campaigning by the promoters. Thousands of customers had attended the seminar. Company had assured to provide fully-furnished flats on Kathora road. Rahatgaon and Shegaon Naka locality. As per cost of the flat many of the customers had booked the flats by giving 25 percent of amount as per agreement. But after the compleiion of 2 years of the agreement, the construction work on these places is yet to be started. Fumed over that many of the customers started making round at the office of Rana Landmark for demand to refund their deposits. But only few investors have got their money back.

Irked over this, Sharad Kukade from Morshi has lodged a complaint with District Collector and Economic Offence Wing against Rana Landmark Company. After mat. total of 260 customers have lodged their complaints with Economic Offence Wing. Police also have taken statements of some of them.

According to police.these cus comers have invested Rs 5 crore with the company. Taking cognisance of the complaint. Police called Yogesh Rana. Director of Rana Landmark at Police Commissionoralc for interrogation. Police on Thursday afternoon after completing all the process again called Yogesh Rana along with his 5 supporters for interrogation and arrested Yogesh Rana immediately after the interrogation.

Police have booked Rana under relevant sections and are investigating further in the incident.
