CSVTU STRIVING TO INTRODUCE 4 NEW PG COURSES
EVEN after the approval of setup from Stale Government for introducing four new PG courses from session 2014-15. Chhartisgarh Swani Vivekananda Technical University (CSVTU). Bhilai is not in a position to begin the courses from this session due to lack of building, h is hoped that now the courses can be introduced only after the construction of the university building.
It needs a mention here that last year CSVTU after receiving permanent affiliation from UGC started the process for beginning four new PG courses. After the decision was finalized an emergency meeting of the Executive Council was called and Master of Design, M Tech. in Modern Electronics and Nano Technology. Energy and Environment and Biomedical Engineering-Bio Electronics PG Courses along with Steel Technology were approved.
Experts were invited and syllabus was also finalised bin the procedure came to a standstill due to lack of building. Here it may be mentioned (hat senior officials of DTE for running the courses selected BSP School Secior-2. CSVTU wrote a letter lo BSP seeking the school building or any such building for running the course but Will date no reply has been received from the other side. As such CSVTU has made up its mind to introduce the courses only after the new campus comes into the existence at Newai. Bhaia which again may lake lime.
Till then the graduate engineers interested 10 peruse the above menlioned PG courses from CSVTU either have to wail patiently or join any other university.
