Vidarbh A-level dahi handi competition tomorrow

A VIDARBH A-LEVEL Dahi Handi Competition has been organised jointly by MIX Pravin Pote Patil Mitra Mandal Charitable Trust and P R Pote Patil Group of Engineering and Management Students Forum on August 22. The competition will be held on Nehru Maidan at 9 am. informed Sushi! alias Ballu Padole.

Organising Committee President while addressing  a press conference here. Padole further said that dahihandi programme has immense historic importance in Amravati city. The programme also aims at encouraging traditional events like dahihandi and also to make people stay connected to our culture, he added. Dahi handi teams from across Vidarbha will participate in the competition and the winner will get a cash prize of Rs 31.000. Runner-up learn will get cash prize of Rs 21.000 and second runner up will get cash prize of Rs 11.000. Consolation prizes will be given lo all the participating teams. Folk dance pro-
