THE forest officials deployed three sharp shooters to tranquilise the troublesome beast that created havoc in Pombhurna tehsil where six people have been killed in tiger attacks this year. Tigers are prowling close to the villages in search of food and water. Villagers claimed of having seen tiger walking along the streets of village during night time. While people have stopped getting up early in the morning, they prefer to remain indoors at dusk due to tiger fear in eight villages in Pombhurna tehsil. After a long hue and cry by politiciaas, the forest officials deployed three sharp shooters to tranquilise the troublesome tiger (so-called man-eater) in the tehsil. Following the consistent incidents of man-animal conflicts, tiger terror has disrupted the normal life in troubled villages. Recently, the villagers sighted a tigress and its two grown-up cubs in the surrounding areas. A senior forest officer claimed that the forest department has deployed three sharp shooters to tranquilise the beast that created havoc in Pomhhurna tehsil. Around 50-60 forcstmen are on their toes in the operation to capture the menacing beast. In all. three veterinary doctors have also been engaged for this operation. The operation is being
