'Students must inform people about NSS works'
A TREE plantation programme was organised at the Government Science College here by the National Service Scheme (NSS» and Nisarga Mandal unit of the college.
The venture was launched at the hands of Dr Jairam Khobragade. Principal, by planting a sapling. Different varieties of saplings were planted in the college premises by the staff members and students.
Dr Khobragade guided the students on the importance of the tree plantation and its conservation. He called upon the students to create an awareness in the society about this activity and help in the task of maintaining environment. Prashant Ashtaputre. Programme Officer of NSS. Dr M S Darade. Incharge of Nisarga Mandal. Dr Idris were prominently present. Prakash Fating. Yogesh Andraskar. Harshad Karchal. Shubham Naiuun. Vikas Pendam. Puja Awtade. Bhavna Farkade, Rani Tekam took pains for the programme.
