'Poets must keep experimenting'

PURE poetry emerged out of the utmost urge for die love reflects poet's determination. This determination was the soul of poetry of Indira Sam. said Dr Meeta Kamble. researcher of the poetry of Indira Sam. She was delivering the lecture on 'Indira Samyanche Kavya Vishwa' organised by Amravati branch of Vidarbha Sahitya Sangh on the occasion of birth anniversary of Indira Saul.

Dr Vijaya Dabir. President of Amravati branch of V S Sangh presided over the lecture.

Dr Kamble further said that amongst all poeless in Marathi the 20th century. Indira Sant got maximum love and appreciation from poetry lovers. Her poetry exhibits the beauty of emotions and it also displays the combination of rich content and excellent expression. Love, separation from beloved, live picturisation of nature are some of the key features on her poetry.
