Janmanch to stage 'Rail dekho bus dekho' stir
JANMANCH. a non-political organisation will stage unique 'Rail dekho bus dekho' agitation at every district in Vidarbha to mark the August Kranti Din on August 9 for demanding Bharatiya Janata Party to declare separate statehood to Vidarbha or at least to declare timebound programme for that before State Assembly elections, informed Or Baban Bclsare here in a press conference on Thursday.
Addressing further. Dr Belsare informed that separate state of Vidarbha is completely capable in all the fields. For the sake of political benefits, politicians have done injustice with Vidarbha and still doing so. Bharatiya Janata Parly which is a supponcr of small states already has made a resolution for the formation of separate Vidarbha in its Bhubaneshwar Conference in 1997. Party has come to power with thumping majority which has created favourable condition for the separation of Vidarbha. said Dr Belsare.
BJP though is in favour of Vidarbha. its alliance partner Shiv Sena isopposing that. To force political parties to declare Vidarbha as separate state, Janmanch. a non-political organisation has taken the responsibility on its shoulder.
