Hotel director flays mudslinging over F'ship Day party
THE party organised ai Hotel Rangoli Pearl, which was raided by Amravatu Police .was not a Rave party but just a simple get-together organised by a group of youths to mark Friendship Day, clarified Nitin Deshmukh, Director of Hotel Rangoli Pearl while addressing a press conference here. Meanwhile, youths who participated in the party have also levelled severe allegations against the Bajrang Dal activists claiming that it was a well planned act of the activists to create ruckus for no reason.
Nitin Deshmukh further said in the press meet that permission for holding the party was given only after it was give in writing to the organisers and hotel managemnei that cigarettes, liquor and drugs will to be involved. "Youths were dancing in artificial rain in a perfectly safe atmosphere. Some of the you the were even dropped to the hotel by their parents. However, some antisocial elements barged into the area and started creating ruckus when the party was over. As a result, police also reached the hotel." Deshmukh said.
he also cleared that the three youths, including a girl, who were taken into custody by the police, were caught in the parking area in from of the hotel and not inside the hotel.
Deshmukh also showed video clippings of the party which were recoded by one of the youths present in the event but failed to provide the CCTV footage. Meanwhile, the some people who were present in the party, including the girl who had been arrested, were also present in the press conference. The youths claimed lhat Bajrang Dal activists including Neeranjan Dube. Ankush More and Pravin Giri came to the hotel in a planned manner. They allegedly abused the girl by for ceftily holding her when she was standing in the parking area. They further alleged that Bajrang Dal activists threw away some material from the hostel room of the girl and are also pressurising the hostel director to suspend her.
