Fasepardhis stage agitation
Fasepardht community members stopped the convoy of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Monday during his tour to Amravati demanding not to include any other community in the Scheduled Caste category reservations. Pawar assured agitators that no injustice will be done with Fasepardhi community.
The agitation was led by Matin Bhosale. founder president of Adivasi Fasepardhi Samaj Sanghatana, and large number of community members had participated in it.
Fasepardhis are considered as irtbals and they should get benefits of reservation of SC category. But the fact is that, benefits of resevation did not reach this community which is living worst life amongst all communities.
No other communities should be included in SC reservation quota and Fasepardhi community should get actual benefits of reservation, demanded agitators.
Community members on Mondas gathered at Irwin square here and stopped the convoy of DCM Ajit Pawar. They raised [heir demands during the discussions with Pawar. DCM assured agitators that no injustice would be done with Fasepardhi community.
The police were on toes to control the situation.
