Farmers informed about pests' attack
SOYABEAN crop is cultivated on over 80% land in Washim district. Since last few years it is has been observed that typical insects and worms are destroying the crop. In order to guide the farmers. Soyabean Shetishala was organised at Maoje Koyali (Bu) in Risod taluka the other day.
Shetishala is a venture of of Krishi Vidnyan Kendra.
The workshop would be conducted in five villgaes of Risod and Malegaon talukas under Krishi Samrudhhi Prakaip. DrR L.Kale. Programme Coordinaior. Krishi Vidnyan Kendra. Karda, inauguraiedlhe programme.
R S Davare. agriculture expert, guided the farmers on pesls attack. Shriram Sakharam Bhidse. President of Village Development Committee, Koyali. was famrers' representatives. Lakshman Raghoji Khodke guided the gathering with traditional and modern method of soyabean cultivation.
