Co-op Society's President booked for cheating

HUDKESHWAR Police booked former President and Secretary of Dhrudsankalp Urban Credit Co-operative Society on charges of cheating and criminal breach of trust.

Even after the board of directors of the society was dissolved on November  14. 2014. former President Anil Ashok Sahane and former Secretary Chandrakant B Jainkar withdrew Rs 3.50 lakh cash from the society's account at Bank of Maharashtra on December 27. 2013. Following a complaint lodged by Amit Surcsh Kasture. CEO of the Society. Hudkeshwar Police registered a case under Sections 420.406 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against Sahane and Jamkar.
