RTMNU gearing up to face NAAC visit
ALL THE departments of Mahatma Jyotiha Phule Parisar (Campus) are getting a facelift. Many pending civil works necessary for .students' welfare and basic needs, are being undertaken on war-footing. The hostels of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) are also getting a new look as the date of NAAC visit draws closer.
The Acting Vice-Chancellor Anoop Kumar, in view of upcoming visit of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) to RTMNU on September 10. 2014, had convened a meeting of various Heads of Departments (HoDs) of post graduate departments, administrative officers and other employees recently.
The university is leaving no stone unturned to impress the team and subsequently putting in its best efforts in preparation towards the scheduled visit.
Anoop Kumar has guided the teachers, administrative officers and Other employees on finer points to be prepared Tor the NAAC visit. Already, the "LECY which was formed to look into the high-profile visit, had given its directions.
Anoop Kumar, while enlightening the heads of departments and officials said that they play a very vital role in the development of the university. The Acting Vice-Chancellor exhorted them to put in their best efforts in preparation for the NAAC visit next month.
Anoop Kumar emphasised on beauification of the campus and its gardens and added that help could be taken from women's self-help group for the maintenance of the gardens in the campus.
RTMNU has never received A' Grade certificate during NA AC's last visits to the university and had to be satisfied with B Grade. This time RTMNU is keen to get solid award.
RTMNU has no shortage of funds but still it is lacking in facilities. The lack of facilities is not because of shortage of funds but because of lack of will power.
