Keep 5% land for women entrepreneurs in MIDC
DALIT Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI) recently met Surendra Badge. Commissioner Industries and Secretary MSME.

The members of DICCI disscused on various issues. They include provision for SHG under PMEGS. so that they can get loan under the scheme. Five per cent land allotment to the women entrepreneur in MIDC. not only in a new land acquisition policy but also in exiting allocation of cancelled plots.
Technology up gradation should be done in each and every running unit under the CI.CSS scheme for better product and increase productivity. Government should arrange visit to other countries that are using hotter technology to have meaning full technology upgradation programme. DIC should lake up awareness drive with D1CCI for SSI registration (Part 1) for unorganized units so they can take the benefit of Government scheme. Reduction of electrical and water hill tariff, which is higher compared 10 the tariff in other stales and make it at par or below with other states.
Provide training to the new entrepreneurs for enhancing their management skill which should be taken on priority basis. D1CCI should be allowed to do Vender Development Programme in PSU to make sure that PSUs would display the list of vendors along with various products which are procured by them.
Discussion was also done with MSME for marketing assistance so that various initiatives taken by D1C. MSME to provide marketing support to new entrepreneurs. They include participation in international trade fairs, market development assistance scheme, purchase and price preference policy, procurement policy for MSE 2012
