Marathi Literature Board inaugurated in G G Tompe College

INAUGURATION of the Marathi Literature Board look place at the hands of Dr Anuradha Warhade al G C Tompe College. Chandur Bazar recently. Prof Rajiv Shinde chaired the programme while Dr Prakash Bahad. Principal. Prof Ravindra Dakhorc. Head of Marathi Department. Dr Priyadarshani Deshmukh. Lalba Dumatkar. Prof Yogesh Sune and Prof Raul were present as chief guests for the inaugural programme.

Guiding to her inaugural speech. Dr Anuradha Warhade said that social progress is possible only with Marathi language. She stressed on the need to identify word power of Marathi.

Dr Warjdae further also appealed students of tyhe college to set a goal in life and develop skills accordingly and create a confidence amongst themselves which can help them in reading the path of happiness and success.

Prof Rajiv Shinde. in his presidential speech, said that Arts faculty is meant to create happiness in the life. Me appealed students to developed their personalities by awakening the artists hidden in them seleves by participating in various projects and also by doing study of literatures.

At the outset. Dr Anuradha Warhade and the guests inaugurated the programme by lighting the traditional lamp and also by performing pujan of the portraits of Sam Gadgebaba and Savitribai Phule. Ravindra Dakhore delivered the introductory remarks. Dr Priyadarshani Deshmukh conducted the proceedings while Lalba Dumatkar proposed a vote of thanks. The programme concluded with posaydan.

Jay ant Bansod, Chore. Patil and teaching and non-teaching staff and students were present in large numbers for the programme.
